The Independent Voters' Association Schöppingen-Eggerode eV (UWG Schöppingen-Eggerode) is the second strongest force in the Schöppingen municipal council and currently has seven council members.

We are particularly proud that we are not only talking about a women's quota, but that four of the seven council members are currently women and that women even make up the majority of the members of the UWG.

Our highest priority is ensuring that the well-being of the citizens is at the forefront of decisions made by the municipal council. We are also affiliated with the Borken District UWG (Union of Borken District) and thus have an influence on events in the Borken district.
